Inspired By Your Motivating ShowsDustin, I’ve been busy preparing for the new year when I get serious about liens and deeds. I got a Palm pilot cheap on ebay ( thanks for the idea), I have created a self-directed IRA to invest form (not too much funds available yet, but enough to get started) and I started an LLC to keep my investments separate form my personal position. Also, New printer and some good bookkeeping software and a few books on various computer applications. My strategy is to first shop around for a cheap deed so that I can have more funds available to invest more long-term in liens. If liens take a year to three to get a return on, I’m dry and just waiting, so I need to find some good properties not to far from where I am in the northeast so I can do what I need to get them back on the market cheap, but with a good ROI. My point is, I’m watching Trusty Dusty’s shows and am inspired by your motivating shows. I am fucking awesome at several things and I know that I can use many of my excellent skills, so far waiting to be used, and incorporate them in a plan where they work off each other. I have some good communication skills, I’m very wired and energized, I brew a killer stout and I make great chili. I imagine going to a lien or deed auction and convincing folks to have a few brews before the auction begins and get them all buzzed on brew and chowing down large quantities of my XXX chili. Meanwhile, I’ll hide in the back of the room with a gas mask on while they knock each out with the Triple X by product methane monsters from my secret ( and highly toxic) Chili. By now the auctioneers are barfing in the parking lot and sell me whatever I want just so they can get the hell outta there. So what do you think? pretty creative, huh. Say, maybe you can some by Vermont sometime and have a few brews. We’re neighbors, eh? Maybe we can consume ridiculous portions of chili and have a fart lighting contest. Then we can talk finances. Obviously, I’ve already had a few stouts tonight. I’m pretty much a lightweight these days. Maybe I should go to bed. Goodnight
